As such, our next club competition will be <strong>Dark Beers<\/strong>. No style restrictions, anything is fair game: Porter, Stout, Belgian, Black IPA, Dark Mild, Dunkelweizen, etc etc. Just make sure it&#8217;s on the higher end of the SRM scale (30-ish or higher, but no one&#8217;s gonna check). We&#8217;re hoping to hold the competition sometime in <strong>February 2022<\/strong>, stay tuned to the club email for more info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was also talk of a <strong>High Gravity<\/strong> competition for later in 2022. Think Double and Triple IPAs, Belgian Tripels and Quads, Imperial Stouts, Barleywines, anything else that packs a punch. Exact parameters are TBD, but expect something like an OG of 1.070 or higher.
